A day late for the 2024 Monarch Blitz, a Monarch Butterfly came by the milkweeds growing in the garden by our front porch.  Its visit was too brief for me to grab a camera to get a photo or determine its gender.  This was the third Monarch Butterfly to visit the plants in our home gardens this summer, with the previous two being on 7/19 and 7/29).

At the time (~2:30 PM), the air temperature was 84°F, the dew point was 67°F, the humidity was 56%, with a 7 mph breeze from the West under mostly cloudy skies and the air pressure at 28.69 inches.
