Para los Santuarios de hibernación de las Monarcas, el Año Nuevo 2023 comienza con un invierno suave.  Aunque con temperaturas bajo zero durante la noche, días tibios y soleados con solamente rachas de nubes y aire frío prevalecen.

 

January is usually the coolest month of the year. As we welcome the new year of 2023, mild winter temperatures prevail. Night temperatures dip below zero but the sun provides warmth during the day. Only a few clouds can be seen in the sky.

Rejoice as the winter solstice approaches and daylight hours extend in the Northern Hemisphere. Hoping the new year brings much happiness...and many monarchs to observe. See you in 2023!
