Tulips Emerging

Reports of tulips emerging in the western half of the United States continued to be submitted earlier in the month while some Journey North gardeners in the northern latitudes—where fluctuating spring weather is still bringing cool, winter-like conditions—are now reporting emerging tulips in their areas.

Brian in St. Paul, MN: "The giant snowbank/glacier finally receded from over our tulips. One tulip is even pushing up through a thin layer of ice." (04/10/2023)

Tulips Blooming

From the Pacific to the Atlantic coasts, reports of blooming tulips are picking up. 

Elaine in San Anselmo, CA: "The test tulips are finally starting to bloom! After so much rain we have finally had a few sunny days. We expect more will be blooming soon!" (03/31/2023)
