Bulbs Waiting For Spring
Tulip bulbs have been planted across the U.S. and Canada. When will bulbs emerge and bloom? There is one report that indicates spring happiness may be right around the corner.
V. Dianne in Zephyr, TX: In November 2023 First through Sixth Grade Zephyr ISD GT students planted 100 Red Emperor tulip bulbs. “The bulbs were refrigerated for six weeks before shipping to us because of our warmer climate in Texas. We liked the tag that came with the bulbs “Plant Happiness” Surprisingly, on January 9th, students “noticed that four of our tulips had emerged.” (01/09/2024)
