We noticed monarchs migrating through our playground at the rate of one per minute. The children were very excited to see this!

I’m on the 33rd floor of a downtown office building in Dallas. For the past 45 minutes I’ve seen 100-150 monarchs floating by, right outside my office window!

We saw three butterflies.

We saw 12 monarch butterflies in the span of 10 minutes. The time of the observation was 3:40 pm to 3:50 pm.

Students observed 30 monarchs migrating in a 1 hour period

York, Maine

Observed approximately 300 monarchs flying through in a north to southwest direction. Approximate time was 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Saw about 15 monarchs passing over Cedar Mountain.

We are watching the butterflies as they pass through our area. They are just starting to trickle through now.

Boones Mill, Virginia

At 11:00 AM the second grade science class excitedly observed 15 monarchs in about 10 minutes. They were flying in a westerly direction. We watched them fly from over the roof of the school, and then at about tree-top level.

Tennessee

Well, it's not the thousands they see in Texas, but it was pretty exciting for Tennessee. I counted 10 monarchs on the 8 mile trip home from school on Thursday while driving 30 mph.
