When School Starts

Plan and organize your tulip garden project when school starts in the fall. Follow these steps for a successful and rewarding experiment.

  1. Order Your New Tulip Bulbs
  2. Register for Journey North
  3. Decide Where to Plant the Garden
  4. Follow These Planting Instructions
  5. Experiment and Explore!
Fall Plant your garden then report to Journey North. Your garden location will appear on the Journey North Tulip Garden map.

 

Participants in Warm Regions (Zone 8-11):
Note these Important Dates:

  • Nov. 21, 2011: Refrigerate bulbs by this deadline
  • January (first week): Plant bulbs
Tulips Emerge Report to Journey North when your tulip garden EMERGES.
Tulips Bloom Report to Journey North when your tulip garden BLOOMS.
