News: It's Meterological Spring

Change is in the air when the calendar flips to March. How will the stronger and longer rays of sunlight affect plant growth?

  • Massachusetts: "Today the temperature crept up into the 50's and was sunny. The first of our tulips have emerged!" Lincoln 02/25/16

  • Alberta: "I noticed the tulips are up about 3" already. This is very early for Lethbridge by at least two or three weeks." Lethbridge 02/25/16

  • Indiana: "We have up temperatures the last two weeks ranging from 66° to below 20° and less than 1" of snow reported. However, our ever hopeful students thought for sure we would see some "emerging" developments. We unfortunately did not."
