News: Blooms Prevail!

Another week of cold temperatures and snowfall. This is a good spring to see just how hardy tulips really are.

"Tulips perserved! Tulips battled it out with the snow and are about to bloom! Horray for Tulips!" exclaimed Sioban from Marshfield, Massachusetts on April 8th.

"Grade 2 and 3 classes went out to check on our tulip garden on a very cold, but sunny day. The temperature was -9C and we're still wearing our winter clothes! We were very excited to see that our tulips had emerged!" wrote Lisa on April 6th from Miramichi, New Brunswick, Canada.

"Friday afternoon, the tulips in our Test gardens finally bloomed. We had a spring blizzard and heavy wet snow on April 5th, but the 2 inches of snow melted fast," Steve shared from Lewistown, Montana on April 8th.

Bloom Time in Germany
Two of our German gardens have now bloomed. One more near the Germany and Czech border is yet to bloom.
