8, 2007 We now have 174 gardens on the map! Students have been busy digging, measuring and planting the bulbs they have come to know so well. Take the Microclimate Challenge: Cause 2 tulip bulbs to bloom as many days apart as possible. And now is the time to explore and design your own tulip experiments. Study the map and find a gardening partner! |

11, 2007 Our map shows 17 gardens planted. These gardens are leading the way as many others get ready to dig in for another year of observing tulips and spring. Prepare by getting familiar with the maps that will help you predict spring’s arrival across North America. Investigate a tulip bulb inside and out. Dig up an old bulb to see how new bulbs are grown. Then try your hand at re-creating the tulip bulb life cycle. |
