Along with this week's numerous first hummingbird sightings came a great number of excited oriole observers.

Rufous Spread East
Meanwhile rufous continue pushing east with numerous sightings in Montana and central British Columbia this week.

Western Species Highlights
Black-chinned, calliope, Anna's, and broad-tailed hummers continue to arrive in the west where sightings include one above 7,000 feet.

"I was watering a flower bed when I got buzzed by a hummingbird. I went in and filled the feeder and it came back. Female black chinned."
