Who
makes the butterflies?
All kinds of classes send messages of goodwill, friendship,
and conservation.

Muchas
Mariposas! |
Here
in the Symbolic
Butterfly Capital of the World thousands
of butterflies are preparing for their fall journey.
Soon they will travel side by side with the live monarchs
to spend the winter together in the mountains of central
Mexico. (Watch
for the Passenger List in our November 29 Update.)

Like
the real butterflies, all of your symbolic monarchs will
soon travel side by side and spend the winter together
in Mexico. |

Almost
1100 of you posted map messages like this showing goodwill
to the people in Mexico:
"Thank
you for taking care of the monarchs this winter, from
your northern neighbors. Gracias por cuidar a las mariposas
monarcas este invierno, de parte de sus vecinos del norte."

Celebrate!
Grand Opening: Symbolic
Migration Art Gallery |
Join
us for the opening of the 2007 Symbolic Migration Art Gallery.
As we are sorting and preparing
your butterflies for their journey to Mexico, we've paused
to celebrate their
creative beauty. Many butterflies were designed in entirely new
and creative ways! As with most art galleries, ours display just
a sampling of the masterpieces we’ve received. |

Tour
the Gallery, enjoy the artwork, and see if you can find YOUR

Very
Special Deliveries |
Inside
your envelopes we found many contributions for the Monarch
Butterfly Sanctuary Foundation (MBSF). Your donations
both large and small have served as a true gesture of appreciation
to the Mexican people for caring for the butterflies.
Send
us your fundraising stories! We'll share them when we
announce the total MBSF contributions and all the names
of those of you who donated. And when the
real butterflies return next spring, you'll be proud
to know that you helped!
