About Ask the Expert Important Note: Please send questions that only an expert can answer! Questions about general information which is readily available in books and other sources will not be forwarded to the expert. Work as a class to develop your questions. Challenge one another to answer your own questions before submitting them, using all resources available to you. See the process outlined in the "Ask the Expert Lesson" of the Teacher's Manual before you prepare your questions. How to Participate Each week you may send 3 good questions to the designated expert. Please note that questions for each species will ONLY be accepted during the two weeks, between the date the species "Opens" and "Closes", as shown on the schedule below. Answers from each expert will be available for everyone via e-mail and on the WWW two weeks after each closing deadline below.
